The year 2025 has put fresh wind in the sails of Instagram’s culinary accounts, with Michelin-starred chefs, kitchen newbies, pastry wizards, and culinary influencers filling our feeds with creative ideas. We’re showcasing the 20 best chefs on Instagram – inspiring content creators whose recipes we’re always excited to try at home.

The online culinary world’s so much more than just a parade of food photos. It’s about community and celebration, a trove of personal and professional insights that brings the fine dining world within users’ own four walls. “You eat with your eyes first,” they say, but this year it’s taken on a whole new dimension: more interaction, more personality, more behind-the-scenes looks. Sustainability, sources, and storytelling remain key topics, along with regionality, zero-waste recipes, and personal kitchen stories. Chefs are revealing more of themselves than ever before, whether it’s through day-in-the-life snapshots, instructional cooking videos, or innovative new recipe ideas.

As we’ve done in previous years, we here at KTCHNrebel combed our Instagram feeds to find 2025’s 20 most exciting accounts. These food feeds are inspiration, entertainment, and appetite stimulators all in one – the perfect companions to a perfectly unforgettable culinary year. Heaven Delhaye

What’s in a name? Heaven Delhaye certainly takes her 1.1 million followers to culinary Cloud 9 on the regular.  The French-Portuguese-Brazilian content creator is a passionate chef and a cutting-edge influencer. Among other things, Delhaye’s known for cooking her way to third place on MasterChef Professionals Brazil. When she’s not on TV or social media, she’s cooking in XXL format: she runs Gourmet Square at the Rock in Rio Festival and also manages eight other restaurants. She’s not afraid of modern cooking technology, either – her production kitchen has over 20 Rational appliances, which she uses out of true conviction. Whether she’s on Instagram or at the stove, Heaven Delhaye’s elevated her name into a personal brand, and she attracts new followers daily with skill, creativity, and an extra pinch of charm.

Rodrigo Oliveira

Rodrigo Oliveira is one of Brazil’s most famous and influential chefs. At Mocotó, which his father started, he re-imagines traditional Sertaneja cuisine using North Brazilian ingredients like cassava, corn, and beans. His creations delight the online world, too, with 669,000 faithful followers checking in for regular glimpses into the beloved chef’s life. Social media isn’t his top priority, but thanks to his team, his reach remains consistent. The former MasterChef Brazil juror has a big heart, too: in 2020, he and his wife founded the Quebrada Alimentada social project, which has already donated more than 100,000 meals. Even with all the fame and glory, he’s never forgotten his roots.

Karim Bourgi

A Senegal native who grew up in Lebanon in France, Bourgi conjures up sweet masterpieces that combine French elegance with Middle Eastern flair. In 2023, MENA’s 50 Best Restaurants even named him Best Pastry Chef. His nearly 712,000 followers may come for the sugar, but they stay to experience how classic pâtisserie meets modern creativity. Bourgi shares his knowledge around the world – he’s held seminars at renowned culinary schools in over 80 countries. He moved to Dubai in 2011, where he serves as head confectioner of the Al Mana Group; among other things, he oversaw its opening of La Maison du Chocolat Paris. Even today, his work still celebrates tasty synergies between French and Middle Eastern elements, putting his own unmistakable stamp on the dessert world.

Reif Othman

As one of Dubai’s top chefs, Othman has a formidable resume. In 2022 alone, he was ranked 16th on MENA’s 50 Best Restaurants, added to the Michelin Guide, and given the Bib-Gourmand Award. At REIF Kushiyaki, the self-made chef serves “Mediterrasian” cuisine –  a unique mash-up of traditional Japanese techniques with Middle Eastern and Mediterranean influences. Othman places particular importance on high-quality ingredients, depth of flavor, and of course, a generous helping of creativity. His 16,700 followers enjoy his culinary feats as well as his fun-loving attitude, which shines through both at the stove and within the hospitality scene.

Arkadiusz Chwałek

Chwałek, a Poland native, is a fast-rising star in the culinary sky. He’s already made a name for himself as a chef at Zamkowy Młyn Krapkowice, and his 1,200-some Instagram followers enjoy his blend of creative culinary insights and snapshots of everyday kitchen life. Chwałek also serves as a jury member in culinary competitions. Although his online presence is still on the smaller side, he’s a powerhouse of perfect technique – in part with the help of Rational appliances.

Alvaro Clavijo

In Colombia, Álvaro Clavijo is considered a culinary revolutionary who reinterprets domestic cuisine with international influences. He spent seven years in several Michelin-starred restaurants in Paris before moving to New York, where he worked at Per Se and L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon, among others. In 2017, he opened his own restaurant, El Chato in Bogotá, which has been shaping Colombia’s culinary scene ever since. To no one’s surprise, it hit number 33 on The World’s 50 Best Restaurants in 2023; a year later it climbed to 25th worldwide and 2nd in Latin America. Damian D’Silva

“The Rebel Chef,” as he calls himself on Instagram, is a renowned chef from Singapore. At his restaurant, Rempapa, he focuses on preserving his home country’s diverse culinary traditions – always with a touch of modern reinterpretation. Nokx Majozi

Nokuthula “Nokx” Majozi’s already racked up an impressive list of awards. Among others, she was the first guest jury member on MasterChef South Africa in season five, and the Guardian celebrated her as a “rising star.” What makes her special? Obviously her savory pastries and cakes, which look as amazing as they taste. Majozi’s the head pie maker for the Pie Room at Holborn Dining Room and a sous chef at the 5-star Rosewood Hotel in London. Pies have long been her hallmark. She’s also committed to tackling gender inequality in professional kitchens and giving young female chefs better opportunities. She shares her delicious creations online, too, and they’re a truly mouthwatering sight to behold.

Patrick Ködel

As an up-and-coming young talent, German chef Patrick Ködel made a name for himself as a finalist in the 2024 Junge Wilde competition. His signature dish, Heart of the Mountain, demonstrates his love for nature as well as his appreciation for regional ingredients. He also made impressive showings in Chef of the Year and other competitions. Ködel is the head chef at Hallo Emil in Stuttgart. On Instagram, he comes across as particularly approachable as he inspires his followers with creative  kitchen videos – including plenty of personal culinary tips and tricks straight from the chef’s own mouth. Ködel embodies the rise of a new, more sustainable generation of chefs.

Jaspar Wcislo

Even as a child, Wcislo loved being in the kitchen. Once he finished his culinary training at Schlosshotel Rettershof near Frankfurt, Germany, Jaspar Wcislo’s career really took off. In 2016, the German chef started at the two-Michelin-starred PURS in Andernach, where he worked his way up to chef de partie. Five years later, he moved to Agata’s in Düsseldorf, where he impressed diners with his sophisticated creations: first as the pastry chef, then as the sous chef. In 2023, Jaspar Wcislo won Chef of the Year. And he’s not just a star at the stove, either. Servus, as they say in Bavaria! Noah Hansen is great at two things: cooking with passion, and sharing his creations with his 150,000 followers. The 20-year-old’s videos are a winning combination of authenticity and humor. Born in Kenya and raised in Bavaria, Hansen found his calling at a young age. His culinary training in Munich was challenging at times, but that only reinforced his dedication to his chosen path. Today, he wants to show everyone, but especially young people, that kitchen work can be fun. He’s currently cooking up a storm at Gasthof Alpenrose. Though he could easily make it as an influencer, he’s not aiming for Instagram success – he wants culinary awards. His trademark style? Tamara Cabezudo

When it comes to natural, healthy eating, she’s the expert. Isabella Poti

The two words that come to mind for Isabella Potì are “creative” and “wilful.” The Italian knew from a young age that she wanted to be a chef. Her culinary training took her through some of Europe’s most famous kitchen, including Claude Bosi in London, Martín Berasategui in Spain, and Geranium in Copenhagen. In 2015, her big break came at Restaurant Bros, which received a Michelin star shortly after her arrival. She and partner Floriano Pellegrino joined forces to found Pellegrino Brothers Holding, which today includes the Bros, Trattoria Roots,  and even the Bros Rugby Club, at which Potì is Italy’s youngest president. On Instagram, she shows her almost 125,000 followers her other side: the mother, entrepreneur, and model who’s also a successful TV personality and book author.

Yotam Ottolenghi

Ottolenghi is known throughout the world for his love of colorful international flavors. Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, Asian, European… he never shies away from high-octane ingredients. Ottolenghi was born in Jerusalem and moved to London in 1997, where he completed his culinary training; in 2002, he opened his first deli in Notting Hill with Sami Tamimi. In 2013, his acclaimed cookbook “Jerusalem” made him an international star once and for all. May has developed numerous restaurant concepts, from the breakfast chain Over Easy to the vintage gastropub Goodwood Tavern; several have become regional hotspots. He has been Executive Chef and Culinary Director of the Bullseye Event Group for two years, and he regularly hosts gourmet events as well. Jules Wiringa
